  • Qualification: Minimum Diploma in Nursing (local Polytechnic) & registration with the University of Health Sciences Phnom Penh Nursing Board.
  • Experience: Palliative or ICU background is a plus.
  • Availability: Able to work rotating shifts (for inpatient wards).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment is available & safe for patient care.
  • Coordinate with physicians; assess condition; act as liaison with families.
  • Participate in team meetings to review and enhance care plans.
  • Prioritize patient safety; escalate concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation & handovers.
  • Perform clinical tasks (e.g., medication rounds, wound dressing, IV care).

In accordance with MOH guidelines, you need to be adequately equipped with the following documentation and experience:

  • Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support + Automated External Defibrillator (BCLS + AED) certificate
  • Valid Cambodia Nursing Board (CNB) license
  • 2 years of Hospital Ward experience

You also need to be a Cambodian citizen or a Cambodian  Permanent Resident as well.

Once you have successfully joined us as a Hospicare nurse, Hospicare will match you to the cases that are suitable for your skillset, location, nursing experience, etc. You can easily browse through and simply tap and slide the “Apply” button to take up the cases you prefer. Please note that application approval for Care Visits is on a first-come-first-served and on a best-fit basis.

Yes, you can hold a full-time job and still take on freelance appointments with us at Hospicare. However, you would not be able to apply for short-term or full-time roles as these require full-time fixed schedule commitment from you.

Yes! CarePro can claim up to $100 in total after completing 100 hours of care with Hospcaire.

Freelance

You will get a chance to work in a variety of settings from homes, nursing homes, hospices to hospitals. You will support families with nursing procedures such as post surgical care, palliative care, tracheostomy care, tube feeding and medication administration. You also help with general caregiving by providing companionship, helping with personal care and hygiene as well as assisting daily living. Through giving care, help more to live independently!

Short-Term

You will be placed in a hospital based on your chosen schedule. The job scope really depends on your skillsets and specialities, ranging from A&E, Maternity Ward, General Ward, Paediatric to Surgical. Pace yourself with your preferred schedule while making a difference to someone’s life!

Full-Time

You will be placed in a hospital based on a full-time basis. Similar to Short-Term, the job scope really depends on your skillsets and specialities, ranging from A&E, Maternity Ward, General Ward, Paediatric to Surgical. Make a lasting impact in someone’s life everyday at work!

This depends on which roles you have chosen: freelance, short-term, or full-time!

For our freelance roles, it really depends on how many cases you apply for! There are numerous Care Visits to choose from, so you can pick as many or as few as you want, so long as you can fit them into your schedule.

For our short-term roles, it will be a minimum of 3 days a week. There are both half shifts (4-hour work shift) and full shifts (8-hour work shift).
